Marabou spent several million dollars towards a river habitat improvement program, which includes giant limestone boulder cross-steam structure, deeper holes, the addition of overhead cover and transplanting thousands of willow trees for stream bank stabilization. Ten acres of ponds have been designed, built and then connected with a wonderful meadow meander. The river, ponds and trout habitat are world class and all managed for trophy trout fishing.
