Marabou is a paradise for cross country skiing especially when a fresh coat of champagne powder covers the meadows of the 1,717 acres of Colorado ranch land (77% is dedicated to shared open space). Along with the seemingly infinite amount of open space at the ranches, Marabou has also surveyed and designed over 20 kilometers of trails winding in and out of the mountains, plains and the river side.

A fantasy cross country skiing excursion is literally waiting outside the front doors of the ranch properties at Marabou. During the Colorado winter months, ranch owners can step out their front door and enjoy hours of the champagne powder, gliding in and out of the breath taking and naturally preserved mountain land. The journey through this heavenly sanctuary is at the discretion of the skier making the adventure as challenging or leisurely as they want.

Even for first time cross country skiers, there are incredible opportunities to learn and explore with the best. Marabou Master Guide Todd Lodwick is a masterfully experienced Olympian cross country skier with 17 American national titles as well as seven top 10 finishes in the Olympics. Most recently, Todd won a Silver medal in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Whistler, British Columbia . With his passion for the sport and eagerness to teach, Lodwick shares his skills and abilities exclusively with the owners at Marabou, taking them through the splendor of the open trails.
