As the winter months arrive and snow settles, Marabou grows a little quieter. Most wildlife migrates west to lower elevation, while the horses, with their thick coats, spend time in the pastures. Yet, a rancher's job is never done.

Feed horses daily around mid–morning
Ensure fresh drinking water
Check health of animals, such as injuries or infections
Groom

Trails
Daily maintenance and grooming of ski trails with groomer CAT
Check trails for fallen or snow–covered signage

Maintenance
Continued plowing the 8 miles of interior roads
